Bahama Bay Resort is set amidst 70-acres of undulating, landscaped grounds on the shores of Lake Davenport where you will find plenty of space and a tranquil atmosphere to relax.

Location

Nestled away from the busy tourist areas but located just 15 minutes away from Walt Disney World, 25 minutes from SeaWorld and Universal Studios makes Bahama Bay the perfect setting for your stay in Florida.

Access is 35 minutes from Orlando International Airport and 60 minutes from Orlando Sanford International Airport, it lies near the intersection of US-27 and US-192.

For relaxation you can choose from four heated swimming pools, each with at least one whirlpool, a private lakeside beach and fishing dock whilst the young ones can enjoy their own pool and play area. You can take a peaceful stroll around the spacious resort grounds, lakes and nature trail, listening to the sound of the plentiful wildlife.

Although some days you may want to rest and relax you are just minutes from the theme parks, shopping malls and golf courses.

You will find friendly staff at the Clubhouse to assist you with anything from car rentals, theme park tickets or any of the resorts facilites. Within the clubhouse the Bahama Bay spa offers a massage, body and beauty treatments, there is a mini cinema, internet cafe, shops and children's lounge with Playstation etc.

Dining and Bars

Further amenities include a poolside bar and grill and take-away Pizza Express - perfect for easy at-home dining after a full day at the parks. The lakeside full-service Tradewinds restaurant serves daily breakfast buffets, casual lunches and a full dinner menu, and to set the evening off nicely, there's a nightly happy hour in the cocktail lounge.

Within a ten minute drive you can enjoy an evening at Chilis, Applebees, Indian restaurants, Pizzerias, Chinese take-aways etc.

"Eleuthhera" Spa is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm offering hairstyling, beuaty and body treatments.

For the children

There is an outdoor kid's club featuring a playground and paddling pool and indoors you will find an activity centre with boardgames, Playstations and a 22 seat mini-cinema. Children's selections are available at the restaurants.

Golf

At least five 18-hole golf courses such as Highland Reserve, Ridgewood Lakes, Southern Dunes, Legends and Orange County National are within a 5 to 30 minute drive. Transfers and tee-off times can be arranged through the tour desk at the clubhouse.
